This was the 300th episode of ROH TV and it was all about building towards Best In The World.
Silas Young and The Beer City Bruiser defeated Bobby Fish and Jay Lethal when Young hit Lethal with Misery. This was a good match and Young still has the upper hand heading in to his singles match with Lethal at Best In The World.
The Kingdom vs The Boys. The Kingdom attacked The Boys from behind as they were making their way to the ring. Dalton came to the rescue and made enough of a distraction for The Boys to be able to get to their feet and fight The Kingdom. The match didn’t last long, The Boys nearly snuck a three count with the distraction of Castle but The Kingdom battled back and sent a message to the CMLL team they will be facing at Best In The World when Tavern used Ultimo Guerrero’s finisher to set up his partner Vinnie Marseglia to finish of Boy 1 ( I think) with a Swanton Bomb.
Punishment Martinez defeated Joey ‘Diesel’ Daddiego with a Seventh Heaven Chokeslam. Then he takes out Daddiego’s teammates who came down to get their friend out of danger. The best down stopped when Jay White hit the ring and was able to stand toe to toe with this impressive specimen. This feud between these two has been awesome and I can’t wait to see them do battle once again.
Yoshiro Tanahashi and The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) defeated CHAOS (Will Ospreay, Hirooki Goto and Gedo) when Tanahashi hit a Frog Splash on Gedo and then Daniels followed it up with a BME (Best Moonsault Ever). During the match Cody was doing commentary and after the match had finished Daniels went out of his way to spit on Cody. This enraged Cody and just as it looked like he was going to take on The Addiction by himself Hangmsn Page hit the ring and nailed the man he has been feuding with leading up to a strap match, he hit Kazarian with a leather Strap and that was the chance Cody needed to join him in taking out Daniels with an Angles Wings The finisher of Christopher Daniels.
This was another entertaining show and every match did what it needed in helping build towards Best In The World.
