UWR: Where are you from ?
Cripton: I’m from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
UWR: How old are you ?
Cripton: I’m 21 years old.
UWR: As you were growing up were you a fan of Pro Wrestling ?
Cripton: Yes. I have been watching pro wrestling, since I was 8 years old with my twin brother Obi.
UWR: Where did you train to become a Pro Wrestler ?
Cripton: We went to a wrestling school located in San German, Puerto Rico named West Wrestling Academy where I was train by today’s best women’s wrestler in Puerto Rico Roxxy.
UWR: Who were some of your influences growing up ?
Cripton: I have a few, Rey Mysterio being one of the biggest ones . But my real influence comes from the women of this industry, particularly Mickie James. Why Womem ?
They have had to claw and fight their way in this sport that is dominated by the male athlete. And even though i am a male athlete, I am the underdog. And I am constantly being overseen because of my size and height. Just like the women in wrestling, I have to fight my way to earn my place in this industry that I love.
UWR: Are your family and friends supportive of your Pro Wrestling career ?
Cripton: My family are very supportive of my pro wrestling choices. Even my mom, Mamá twyn, does special cameos on my videos. I am very grateful and lucky that I have my family and friends backing me up every step of the way.
UWR: I’m sure like most you remember your first match. So who was it against and what do you remember most about it ?
Cripton: My first match was on October 7, 2016, in my hometown. It was against a very experienced wrestler called Diablo del Valle. It went very well even though I was very nervous because it was my first match, and it was a one-one. The part that I most remeber is the cheer and laughs of the children that watched the match. Their were as thrilled and energetic as me. All that energy gave me a confidence to finish this match and start my dream on this sport.
UWR: For people that have never seen you perform can you describe your character and wrestling style ?
Cripton: My wrestling style is a mix of brawling, high flying and technical wrestling….and a pinch of strong style.
UWR: What is the best match you have ever seen ?
Cripton: I have so many, but if I had to choose one it will be the triple threat match between Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle vs Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 22. That for me was such an inspiring moment of an underdog overcoming the odds and that is what I’m all about.
UWR: What is the best match you have ever had ?
Cripton: My best match was in May 27, 2017 in CWA 9th Anniversary. My brother, Obi, and I faced 2 imposters, the Dark Twynz. For month they interfere in our matches and attacked us from behind. Finally, that day we defeated them and the entire arena was cheering for us. My favorite opponents had to be “Los Apostadores”, Mike Piconose and Jack Daniels. Let me tell you, every time we faced them we always tried to level up on our tag team moves.
UWR: What is your proudest moment so far in Pro Wrestling ?
Cripton: My proudest moment has to be when I won my first championship . It was a tag team title that I won with my brother Obi. As a kid I always dreamed of winning at least one championship and the fact that I achieved it in the beginning of my career, it feels that I’m in the right track.
UWR: Are there any wrestlers on the Indy scene that you would like to have a match with ?
would like to wrestle the Young Bucks and the Lucha Brothers with my brother Obi. In single competition I would like to face, Star Rogerz, Matt Sydal, Mercedes Martinez, Ricochet, my teacher Roxxy and of course my brother Obi Twyn to see who is the top twin.
UWR: If you could choose one Wrestler in history to have a match with who would it be ?
Cripton: Shawn Michaels
UWR: What are some of the goals you have set for yourself that you have not yet achieved ?
Cripton: First and foremost, Graduate from Vetschool. Make a name in the Indy scenes in USA, and travel the world doing what i love most. And I would love to become part of NXT and WWE.
For me….not even the sky is the limit.
UWR: What advice would you give to someone that wants to be a Pro Wrestler ?
Cripton: Always respect and listen to what the veterans say , seek advise from them when you are doubting yourself and always remember never settle for little, always aspire for more without stepping on others. We all have one goal in mind and that is to elevate wrestling all over the world.
UWR: Where can people see you perform next ?
Cripton: Currently I’m on a break due to my studies in Vetschool at OSU, but there is a possibility that in less than a year I will be in a ring wrestling here in the USA you’ll just have to stay tuned and see.
