If this show proved anything it was that there is huge strength in depth within British Wrestling. Thanks to the extreme weather that stopped many of the wrestlers that were booked for this show there were numerous changes to the card. But the effort put forward by all in this show was outstanding. First we were treated to two veterans battling out as Doug Williams and Rampage clashed. Chris Ridgeway and Adam Chase put together a very fast paced hard hitting contest. The eight man scramble was entertaining and its awesome that Jack is getting that push to a main event spot he has worked his arse to be better at his craft and it seems all that work is starting to pay off. But it was not just Sexsmith winning that made this match special it was also the other characters that participated in this contest. I hope we get to see more of Primate, Amir Jordan, Saxon Huxley and Gabriel Kidd in a Progress ring. The one thing I was not overly impressed about this match was the entrance of Spike Trivet. I hope he realises that spitting in someone’s face can be classed as assault and if he does it to the wrong person he could find himself in a spot of bother or they could want to sort it out themselves either way is it really worth it to try and get a small amount of heat ? Every time I watch a match involving Joseph Conners I am more impressed with him. He plays the bad guy perfectly and he had one of the best performances on this show. But he could not of been so good if it were not for Mambo who I believe is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the country. Yet again Chris Brookes put on another amazing performance against a returning Matt Cross but it was the interference from Lykos that was the deciding factor in this one. Wow Mark Davis is amazing, he would be a great contender for a shot at the Atlas Championship against Walter. But I was equally impressed with the other three in this match. Kyle Fletcher is fearless and some of the moves he did were jaw dropping. For me The Grizzled Young Vets are the best Tag Team in the country at the moment and they are proving it with performances like this one. The intensity in the main event was pretty obvious when Banks entered and flew from the stage over a few rows of fans and took out Eddie Dennis who had been terrorising nearly every fan in the first few rows. This was another good title defence from Banks but this also proved that Dennis belongs in the main event.
