Here are the results, my match ratings and review for Progress Wrestling Chapter 61: Don’t Touch Me… Don’t… Don’t Touch Me that took place on January 14th at the O2 Academy  in Birmingham.

After Jim’s usual pre-show talk out came an injured Mark Andrews but he was interrupted shortly after he  started to address the crowd by his former tag team partner and friend Eddie Dennis. This was a very emotional segment and i thought it was a great way to continue this feud. Dennis is flourishing in his new role and i am looking forward even more to see these two clash i just hope they can save it for a big show (SSS16 or Wembley). Take a look at what went down between Dennis and Andrews in the clip below.

Progress World Championship

Travis Banks (c) vs Chris Brookes w/ Kid Lykos

This was a good entertaining chapter. As always the banter from Trent Seven before the match was hilarious but it was the facial reactions of Gibson that made this segment  even more hysterical. Both teams put together a solid tag match that set a fantastic tone for the rest of the show. I enjoyed the match between Parker and Ridgeway and Parker winning was a shocker but it sucks for Ridgeway he has been really impressive every time he has performed in Progress but he just cant seem to get a few back to back wins. The women’s tag match was a Millie Mckenzie highlight reel. She is a very talented young lady and i have no doubt she will be one of the best in the world one day. The UK championship match was as violent as i expected it to be the one problem i have with a WWE title being defended on another promotion’s show is that you know that the title is not changing hands so the outcome is predictable. It’s awesome to see Ospreay back in a Progress ring and the IWPG JR Heavyweight Champion had his hands full in a crazy fast paced high impact contest against the incredibly talented Adam Brooks. Even though he lost brooks definitely did his profile no damage as he was able to keep up with the best cruiserweight in the world today. Another very impressive display from the team of Haskins and Havoc as they systematically defeated Aussie Open. They are without doubt the most dangerous duo in British Wrestling and its only a matter of time before we see them start to collect gold and have even more control in Progress.  The battle of #CCK was the main event of the show as Brookes challenged Banks for the Progress Championship and while I’m sure all the Banks/Brookes/CCK fans absolutely loved this match but as i have never really been a fan of any of these guys i found this match okay but not the best match on this show.
