Here are the results, my match ratings and review of the first episode this year of Insane Championship Wrestling’s Friday Night Fight Club.

ICW Tag Team Championship

Ashton Smith & Rampage Brown defeated Polo Promotions in 3 minuets with a Spike Piledriver. The Wee Man came out before the match and introduced his mystery team and it was the shock of Ashton and Rampage hitting the ring that cost Polo Promotions the titles. What now for Polo Promotions do they go for a rematch for the belts again or is it time they went their separate ways ?

Match Rating: ⭐️⭐️

Mark Dallas announced that BT Gunn is not medically cleared to complete so his match with Red Lighting would not happen tonight. Red came out, he and Dallas argued, BT Gunn made his way to the ring then was jumped by a hooded guy that looked like Bram but it turned out to be Iysten Rees. This was a bit of a cluster and it didn’t seem like anyone really cared that it was Rees. To be honest I was not sure who it was until Kirkwood over sold it and told us who it was.

Mikey Whiplash defeated Jordan Devlin with a roll up. This was an unusual mix of styles that proved both guys are able to put together a good match with anyone.

Match Rating:  ⭐️⭐️1/2

We were treated to an awful promo by Leighton Buzzard. Thankfully he was cut off by Chris Renfrew.

Chris Renfrew defeated Leighton Buzzard. This was pretty much a squash match but the skill of Renfrew and the over the top selling of Buzzard made this match very enjoyable. Then Renfrew cut an awesome promo he really the best on the mic in Indy Wrestling.

Match Rating: ⭐️⭐️

Wolfgang with The Purge defeated Kid Fite with The Fite Network.

A very good wrestling match with two of the best veterans in ICW and British Wrestling. After a hard fought battle it seems both are done with this feud and are looking at bigger goals in their future.

Match Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This show was a lot about the building up to The Square Go and after watching this show they did a great job starting us on this journey.
