The first big show for ICW in 2018 took place on Sunday night. Every match had stakes attached which always brings the interest level right up, I also enjoyed how unpredictable every match was and there were a few surprises that I never saw coming. The first match was a great way to start the show and it is had to call this anything but a bar fight. Both guys drank beer and beat the crap out of each other all over the venue. While it would of been nice to see Jester pick up a win against The Cowboy, I am looking forward to seeing Storm vs Gunn on the next Fight Club Episode. I am really enjoying Heel Session Moth and this Women’s match was the best I have seen in a very long time. I loved every minute of it and the finish with Rees Spearing Kasey whilst Red Lighting had the Ref distracted. I am sure Martina will be a very entertaining Champion and with Rudo behind her she could hold that belt for a long time. I was also expecting a more even fight between The Purge and Smith & Rampage but the domination of The Purge by Smith & Rampage was far more impressive than anything I was expecting to happen. While everyone has mentioned many times what an impressive performer Rampage is (and he is), I was really impressed by the outstanding performance of Ashton Smith. He was amazing and is really underrated. The performance from Bram was arguably his best ever. He and BT Gunn pulled off a violent, intense, insane battle that had me still second guessing who would win right till the last moment. This is definitely a must see match with so many crazy spots like BT diving from a high ledge and wiping out Bram, Security and a few unlucky fans. Then there was Bram hitting a sickening Piledriver on an unfolded chair. I did like the finish with Bram’s cockiness costing him the match. The Square Go is basically a Rumble with a few weapons thrown in to the mix. I have had to endure some really bad Rumble matches this year but this saved my love for the Rumble Style matches. I loved every moment, this was so unpredictable who would win I probably changed who I thought was going to win multiple times. I thought maybe Renfrew would go from number one and win it, then maybe Kay Lee Ray would be the first ever women to win it, Moose a surprise entrant could get a surprise win, Lionheart looked like a real contender but his rivalry with Jackie Polo resurfaced coating them both their chance, Joe Hendry looked like he had a plan but that back fired and of course there was Stevie. He had a great 2017 but after winning the Square Go it looks like 2018 will be the year of FILTH.

This was the best show I have watched  this year in British Wrestling it is unquestionably a must see show.
