The Phoenix Police Department has concluded its investigation into a rape allegation that was made against Enzo Amore (real name Eric Arndt) and found that there isn’t enough evidence to press charges.
Tom Cargill, an attorney for Amore, issued a statement today announcing that police have informed Amore that the case is closed.
The allegation against Amore, which stems from last October, was made public on January 22nd, with him being suspended by WWE that day and then released from the company on January 23rd. Cargill claimed that Amore only learned of the accusations after they were posted online.
Phoenix Police confirmed that the case has been closed but could be reopened if new evidence were to come to light.
