While I have enjoyed seeing Steiner back and as tag champ with Eli Drake, I knew this was going to be short lived and while it was very surprising they went with the team of DJZ & Everett I am looking forward to seeing the kick ass matches they could possibly have with teams like LAX, oVe and Konley & Lee. A very impressive Tessa Blanchard is doing her family name proud as she is turning into an excellent performer and she was very successful against the very attractive talented Kiera Hogan. After the match Tessa continued to beat down Hogan and it was Madison Rayne who came to the rescue. This is the perfect next step for Blanchard who looks like she is on track to be a top contender in the Knockouts Division. The story surrounding Grado and his new Girlfriend is very similar to many that have been done before as she puts Grado in a match that is way out of his depth. He was pretty much squashed by Kongo Kong, who is becoming one of the best monsters in wrestling. His alignment with Jimmy Jacobs is perfect with Jacobs being a great mouthpiece for the monster Kong. The Next feud for Kong is with Moose who came to the rescue of Grado after his match with Kong. These two behemoths may not have the best technical match ever but it will be entertaining. The story between Callahan and Edwards progressed further as these two fought in a street fight. I did like how they would not saction the match in Impact so it was held at a company that would allow these two to do what ever was necessary to finish this rivalry and what better company than Tommy Dreamer’s House Of Hardcore. After Edwards finally beat Callahan it seemed like this was not enough for Eddie and he attempted to inflict more pain on to Sami. I do like how this obsession of Edwards is turning him uncontrollable and it seems like people are starting to turn against him making him look more like the bad guy in this scenario. Another very impressive win for Cage on his travels it is the perfect way to build him up on his return to Impact. He is on the right track to be a top guy in the company and a future World Champion. It was also really cool seeing Facade perform for the second time this week he is definitely going to have a very bright future in this business. While the main event was one of those generic tag matches that occur a lot it really did a good job in building up the future title matches.
This was another enjoyable show that progressed every feud/story perfectly and had a surprise title change which is always a bonus.
