This was the biggest show Progress had done in the city of Manchester. There were lots at stake for many of the performers on this show with three of the Progress Championships on the line. Every match was consistently good but there was not one that really stood out. Without doubt the highlight of the show was Doug winning the Atlas Championship. I did enjoy Sexsmith vs Banks but with this being the third from last match it was pretty obvious that the title was not going to change hands. I have been a huge fan of Sexsmith, over the last couple of years his transformation in to a top contender in Progress has been outstanding and he is no longer just that Pansexual Wrestler who is a great ambassador for the LGBTQ Community anymore, he is so much more now.  Toni Storm has been the most dominant champion in Progress and after holding the title for over a year it was time to give someone else a chance. I have never been a big fan of Jinny but that does not mean she does not deserve it. She has been one of the most improved wrestlers over the last year and is more than capable of taking the title to new heights.  How Trent Seven is not doing Stand Up comedy is baffling as his timing and comedic genius is better than a lot of the best comedians out there today. It was a shame that he could not perform in the ring but I did like how they progressed the rivalry between BSS  and Havoc/Haskins/Flash. Then after that match out came Ilja Dragunov and it seemed like every single Ultra (Progress Fan) climaxed simultaneously as the match was announced for Wembley. I don’t know much about Dragunov  but it seems like he is a big deal in Europe so we will have to wait and see. My favourite match of the show was Walter vs Starr and I liked that they mentioned that Starr has never beaten Walter as it definitely added a little extra interest to the contest. I felt the opening promo from Gibson & Drake was the same we have seen from them before, while it was good it is starting to feel generic and had a WWE promo feel to it (Say Name, Say Why you are angry and then what you want to do). The one thing I really did like about this show and Super Strong Style was that many used their old ring entrance music that had to be stopped due to copyrights. The entrance  music for me is a huge part of Progress and I believe the shows are much more entertaining when they use the old entrance music rather than the generic WWE Style crap they had been using. This was a good show but nowhere near the best they have done this year.
