Domino 2018 saw five out of seven title matches crown new champions. There were two matches that are in the running for match of the year and the rest of the card was one of the best o have seen from any company this year. The Junior Tag Title Match kicked off the show and it was a very enjoyable opening match with the very opportunistic pair of El Desperado and Yoshibonu Kanemaru stealing a victory from two of the best young wrestlers in the world at the moment. While the following two Tag team matches  were entertaining they both had no stakes but I did enjoy Suzuki Gun vs Chaos and the continuation of the rivalry between Ishii and Suzuki. After losing a substantial amount of weight Elgin looked tremendous as he was able to claim the Never Openweight Championship. This show also solidified the fact that The Young Bucks are the best Tag Team in World for this generation and are also arguably one of the best of all time after the defeated Evil & Sanada to win the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship for the first time. The match was another great match that showed how far The Bucks have cone from being that Tag Team that does a shit load of Siperkicks and are “Killing The Business”. This match told a great story and all four men did a great job through the whole contest. The best thing about the Six Man Tag Team Championship was seeing the Dream Team Of Liger, Mysterio and Tanahashi.  After what was an Epic Best Of The Super Juniors I was looking forward to the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship Match between Ospreay and Hiromu. I was not disappointed as they had a match that was just as good if not better than any match from the BOSJ tournament and while it’s a shame Ospreay lost the title I can’t deny that Hiromu didn’t deserve to win the title after a great performance during the BOSJ tournament and this match against Ospreay. Ever since Jericho attacked Naito this had been the most anticipated match this year apart from maybe the main event of this show. Both feuds and matches Jericho has had during this run in Japan has been phenomenal and now he is the Intercontinental Champion we will be treated to even more great feuds/matches from Jericho. I did not believe that Omega and Okada could put do what they had done previously but they did with what was one of the best wrestling matches I have ever watched and proved why New Japan Pro Wrestling’s in ring action is far superior to ANY other wrestling company. I did like how the show finish with the reconciliation between Kenny and The Bucks. I am really looking forward to seeing what Kenny has to do to remain champion as I am positive there are many all ready looking for a match (Cody surely will be one) and then I think Okada will want a rematch at some point. After BOSJ and now Dominion it has been a great few weeks for NJPW and all fans of this company. I am now even more excited to see NJPW when they tour the U.K. later this month and we will be there in Milton Keynes for Strong Style Evolved.
