Review

The opening segment and first match was a real mess and I was not really sure what was going on for most of it but at least the entertainment factor was still there as Santos and Rishi were as funny as ever. Also I am enjoying the problems that seem to be arising within the Legion Of Lords. As for their opponents Chapman continues to get a negative reaction despite Rev Pro  continually attempting to push him as a Face, I did like what I saw from Psycho Phillips and Besties In The World. They are more than capable of having very promising careers in Rev Pro. I did think that the match to settle the feud between TK and Brooks could of taken place at a bigger Rev Pro show at York Hall and that is why I really like what happened here as Brooks got himself intentionally disqualified with a Low Blow on TK. This just builds more hatred between the two and now I want to see this rivalry be given a spot on a big show with some sort of stipulation added. Bodom got involved in the mess at the beginning of the show attacking Dan Magee, then Dan got some revenge on the man he has beaten three times and after Bodom was successful against a very impressive Kip Sabian, Magee attacked Josh Bodom. This is another match that I think could be put on a big show at the York Hall, it has definitely got a good story behind it and will be a good match to have on that sort of show. Another new team that I have not watched before is The Arrows Of Hungary and while they were unsuccessful against Aussie Open I would like to see them be given more opportunities in Rev Pro. As for Aussie Open they have been one of the outstanding Tag Teams competing in British Wrestling this year and I am sure it is not long before they start winning championships including the tag titles in Rev Pro. The dominance of Jinny in British Women’s Wrestling took a massive set back as she lost her title here in Rev Pro to one of the most impressive female performers I have seen this year, Jamie Hayter. This was another very good match and while in the past I have not been a huge fan of Jinny I must say that this year she has had some of the best matches in Women’s Wrestling which has definitely changed my opinion  of her. While I did enjoy seeing Walter batter another victim in Chris Brookes, I was more pleased with the announcement Chris Brookes made after this match. It had been reported by many including this site that Chris Brookes was signing with WWE and like many others would not be allowed to work for any other British Indy Promotion except for ICW & Progress (can we even call those two Indy shows anymore with the obvious “Relationship” they have with WWE). So this was meant to be his last night in Rev Pro but Brookes had some Breaking News for everyone. Yes he did receive the Email from them but he turned them down and is staying as an Indy Wrestler. The story of involving David Starr, the Cruiserweight Championship and Rev Pro’s supposed conspiracy against Starr according to Starr has been phenomenal and what happened on this show only intensified this situation. I am looking forward to the day when Andy finally snaps and can take no more of the antics from David Starr.

While this was not held a huge venue and did not have as many big names as other Rev Pro shows do, it did a great job at progressing a lot of feuds and storylines.
