Overall this was a good show by Progress. I did like seeing the return of a few old faces and the rise of a few new potential stars. The opening match saw Michael Dante return and he earned himself a title shot after an impressive match with Damien Corvin has made a handful of appearances in Progress. One half of The Kings Of The North gave a good account of himself and I hope he and his partner become regulars in Progress. I’m looking forward to seeing Dante go up against Doug at the next Chapter. The Thunderbastard Tag Team Series has already had some kickass matches and this one was up there with the best to of taken place so far. Whilst I am always impressed by the abilities of Webster & Haskins and Dunne plays his character to perfection, it was Los Federales Santos JR who was the Man Of The Match for this contest. Over the last six months the more I have watched Santos the more I am impressed by him. Not only is he incredibly entertaining but for a guy his size he is unbelievably agile. While they lost here they are a team that could have a very bright future in Progress. The fifth NPS is almost at an end after the second spot in the final was filled by Mark Davis. He is another who has had a fantastic year so far and with performances like this he is on track to being another who could do great things in Progress. I was also very impressed by Danny Duggan, while he was unsuccessful he proved he is more than capable of becoming a top contender in Progress. The biggest statement of the show was made by Spike Trivet. I doubt there were many that thought he would win this one. But not only did he win, he proved just how viscous he is after dominating the majority of this match. As for Havoc, I do like how they are telling the story of a broken and beat down Jimmy. This will probably continue all the way to Wembley where Jimmy will go against his greatest rival in the history of Progress, ‘The Aerial Assassin’ Will Ospreay. I enjoy any match that has Angelico in it. This was no different and while I was never a fan I must say I have been more and more impressed by the performances of Chris Brookes this year. The major story involving Brookes happened after the match. He seemed to want to talk about the injury to his CCK team mate Kid Lykos. But before he could even finish a sentence he was attacked by Flash & Haskins. After Flash had already hit Chris in the head with his Motorcycle Helmet he was going to do it again but then the crowd exploded as a fully fit Kid Lykos returned and saved his team mate from further punishment. Lykos definitely has been hitting the gym as he looked noticeably bigger. If I wasn’t already excited about the Thunderbastard Tag Series this segment and return of Lykos definitely turned up my interest a few notches. The stand out performer in all of British Wrestling this year in my opinion has been Jack Sexsmith. The evolution of not only his character but his in ring skills has been outstanding. This match was proof that he has become a top contender in Progress. Walter was as dominant as ever and I hope he is put in to the title match at Wembley after he got the win on TK in this match. The finish of this match was done really well as Jack had the chance to get the win but instead gave it to Walter and after Kissing The Austrian on the forehead he dove out of the ring on to Travis allowing Walter to finish off TK with no interference. There is no doubt in my mind that Jack will be Progress Champion one day. When that does come I see no reason why he can not become the biggest  star in British Wrestling and then eventually the World. Whilst I understand that the only title match on the card should be the main event of the show, I felt that the outcome of this match was not only very predictable but it was clearly overshadowed by the previous contest. The match it itself was decent until the finish. The Ref was made to look stupid as he blatantly saw Chakara interfere but continued to count the fall after he saw her pull Jinny on top of Kai. Then when Jinny finally ended the match she tried to hit a Rainmaker Clothesline but Dakota was already taking a bump before Jinny had even connected with her and it just looked awful. It was not the best way to finish a show that’s why I think the match before and the way that ended would of been a much better end to the show than this.
