Okay so this was the first official WWE NXT UK show and it was a good way to start. The only shame was that yet again the boys from British Strong Style and The Undisputed Era stole the show and spotlight from the other U.K. wrestlers that the show was meant to be about. The first match was the best match of the night and that was before the finish of the match came with Moustache Mountain winning the titles (as I am writing this news has broken that they dropped the titles back to Undisputed Era at an NXT taping in Florida). It was a bit of a mistake putting this match in first as it was impossible for anything to follow this. Not that everyone didn’t give it a real good try and we got to see some brilliant in ring action. The Women’s match that was up next had the major problem of being after that Tag classic and never really got going. But it was nice to see the very young and talented Charlie Morgan in a WWE ring. So that Four Man Fatal (what Johnny Saint called it) was a decent contest and it was nice to see Noam Dar back. Hopefully him winning this means he will be a regular in the U.K. division as I feel he and Gallagher would be much better suited on this show rather than lost on  205 Live. The highlight came after the match when the Coffey brothers hit the ring and destroyed everyone expected Noam Dar who was clever enough to sneak away befor they could get their hands on him.  Wow Adam Cole is over in the U.K. He got a fantastic reaction on both nights and he did not disappoint in the ring with two excellent displays. He is going to be a huge star in the WWE, it’s not a case of IF it is When. The tag match with four of NXT’s finest was not as good as I had hoped and I was looking to see EC3 or Velveteen maybe sneak a win in a match where it really didn’t matter if Black or Ricochet lost as they could of made it in to a rivalry between those two after they lost. But EC3 who is relatively new to NXT ate the pin and this did little to help build him in to a top contender. One of my favourite matches of this show was the Women’s Championship match. I loved how viscous Shayna has become and Toni Storm did a fantastic job at selling the ankle injury. I think between the two former MMA Females Shayna has taken to Pro Wrestling much quicker and is arguably going to be a much better performer than Ronda Rousey. But I just hope one day we see these two clash, Now that would be worth watching. The U.K. Championship match was awesome and Gibson proved he is more than capable of being the top heel in NXT UK. It is getting harder to see anyone that will be able to take the title away from Pete but I can’t wait to see the match when the title changes hands, that will be a must see match for sure. The only thing I did not like about this NXT UK show was that there were a lot of Current NXT roster memebers on this show and not as many of the new U.K. guys and girls. I would of liked to of seen El Ligero, Kenny Williams and others get a match on this show but it was not to be. Overall though this is nothing but a huge positive for British Wrestling and with WOS coming to ITV in July this has to be the best time to be involved in British Wrestling. The only thing I would like to see them do is get this show a TV slot over here and not air it on the WWE Network. I would really like to see how they do on a  British Channel and I see no reason why they can not rekindle the relationship they once had many years ago with Channel 4 and the let them go head to head with ITV’s World Of Sport. It could potentially be the U.K. version of The Monday Night Wars !
