There so many talented young wrestlers who are attempting to make a name for themselves on the Indy Circuit and one who is being talked about as a future star by many is Jason Dugan. Whether he is part of The Brothers In Arms or on his own in singles competition you are guaranteed to be blown away by his raw natural talent.
UWR: Where are you from ?
Dugan; I’m originally from New York but when I was adopted I moved to Titusville Florida.
UWR: Do you remember how and when you became a fan of Pro Wrestling ?
Dugan: I’ve been a fan of pro wrestling since I was a little kid probably at the age of 6 my adopted mom was the one that got me hooked on it.
UWR: Where did you train to be a Pro Wrestler and who trained you ?
Dugan: I was trained at the team Vision dojo in Orlando Florida. I’ve gotten great guidance from people that are not a trainer at that school ” I’ve gotten help from Matt Morgan when it comes to my strikes’ Jesse Neal when it comes to how to have a match and psychology and recently I’ve been getting advice from Wes Briscoe I have so much respect for those guys.
UWR: Who were some of your influences growing up ?
Dugan: I was a really big fan of Triple H growing up I wanted to be just like him because he was just a bad ass and a great worker. I was also a fan of The Rock when it came to talking on the mic as well as Chris Jericho.
UWR: Are your friends and family supportive of your Pro Wrestling career ?
Dugan: My adopted mom passed away but my brother and my little sister are very supportive of my wrestling career.
UWR: What do you remember about your first match, who was in the match and what did it go well ?
Dugan: When I first had my first match it was over at I believe in wrestling event in Orlando and it was against Jesse Neal and I was really nervous but excited I can say this the match went well and that was because I was working with someone like Jesse you knew how to take care of me. There you go
UWR: For people that have never seen you perform can you describe you character and wrestling style ?
Dugan: My character is more of a street Thug I come off as a very angry person when I’m in the ring and when it comes to my wrestling style I’m more of a fighter in the ring but I can do a lot of cool different stuff that make people shocked that I can do it LOL so it’s like a Cruiserweight fighting style.
UWR: What is the best match you have ever seen ?
Dugan: That’s a really hard question for me to answer because I’ve seen so many great matches that can stand out in my mind.
UWR: What is the best match you have had ?
Dugan: One of my best matches I’ve had so far was a match called a prison yard match and it was against vertigo and formal NXT star Sawyer Fulton for the atomic Revolution Wrestling tag team championships.
UWR: What is your proudest moment from your time in Pro Wrestling ?
Dugan: I actually have two proudest moment and the first one is when I first started training to be a professional wrestler and the other one is when I won the Tag Team Championships with my team bothers in arms over at Atomic Revolution in Cocoa Florida beating the team of TNT who are the sons of Devon Dudley.
UWR: Is there anyone on the Indy circuit that you would like to work with that you have never worked with before ?
Dugan: There’s a few I’ve always wanted to work Mia Yim, for a woman she knows how to handle herself against guys so I think that would be a great match to have. I would also like to work Shannon Moore, I think working against him would teach me a lot and there’s another guy that wrestles in the Florida Indie scene his name is JD he is amazing he’s one of the guys that’s helped me a lot, I would love to work against him one day.
UWR: If you could choose one wrestler in history to have a match with who would it be ?
Dugan: If I had to choose any wrestler in history it would definitely be Triple H, he was my idol growing up and that would be my dream match.
UWR: Are there any goals you have set for yourself that you have not yet achieved ?
Dugan: Yeah definitely. I would one day love to work for WWE I’m pretty sure that’s everyone’s goal. I’ve always wanted to work for Impact Wrestling as well. Just recently I had the honor of being a referee for New Japan CEO gaming event that was in Daytona fl.
UWR: What advice would you give to someone that wants to be a Pro Wrestler ?
Dugan: The best advice I can give is learn all you can learn and listen to whoever your trainer is because that’s the person that’s going to help you get better in the ring.
