Finally a British wrestling show on tv that doesn’t solely focus on the in ring action, they are actually involving storylines into the show. Yes the in ring action was absolutely fantastic but for me I have always liked a bit of storytelling with my Wrestling. It adds a lot more to matches if there is a story behind why they are fighting. The first match of the evening was a brilliant showcase of British Wrestling. Yes Colt Cabana is American but you can’t disagree with me that his style his heavily influenced by the old World Of Sport type Wrestling. As for Burridge he is a veteran in this country and it is really nice to see him getting to perform at this level on this platform. The conspiracy theory of David Starr has now found its way in to the Freesport show and I have loved every minute of this story and am looking forward to seeing it played out over every episode. A tag team tournament began to crown new number one contenders and the first match was an outstanding contest between Rappongi 3K and HXC. After attempting to rip off the mask from Liger last week Brookes found himself in the main event this time round against the man who stopped him from committing such a disrespectful action. There is no doubt in my mind that El Phantasmo is one of the best high flyers around today and he should of been victorious if it were not for Jonathan Gresham. The CCK member aided his partner by distracting ELP and it gave Brookes the perfect opportunity to win the match. Two successful shows and with more to come this is already the best British Wrestling Show I have watched on tv.
