The guantlet match was really entertaining, the one wrestler who stood out was Jeff Cobb. Surely they will be doing more with him this year he is a perfect fit for this company. It was surprising that Yano got a cheap win after such a good match it felt like it ruined everything but that’s Yano. There Never Openweight Championship Match was fantastic and I am liking the more visicous style Ospreay is using now. The first of the triple threat tag matches was fast paced and the most impressive team in this match got the win. Shingo Takagi is a great addition to LIJ and he and Bushi were awesome in this match. Yet again the Rev Pro Championship was on the line on a NJPW show and yet again ZSJ is the Champ. His last run was extremely boring and this one has the potential to be the same or worse. The second triple threat tag match felt quite short and sweet and was a bit anticlimactic with The Bucks losing. I guess with them starting up AEW they did the right thing and put over the best team around in Evil  & Sanada on their way out. Then Cody dropped the belt back to Juice in a good match considering how badly injured Cody is. The best Super Junior this year has been Ishimori until his injury earlier this year and thankfully he made a great recovery and put on a brilliant match with Kushida and finally was able to win the belt. One of the best stories over the last year has been the evolution of the Jay White character. This Match was a huge step for him to be pushed in to the main event and I see him being the IWGP Champion at some point this year. After his first match back last year at Wrestle Kingdom no one can argue that Jericho has been amazing in NJPW while most of his matches are very similar they are all very enjoyable to watch. He is a great heel and I would much rather see him stay with this character in New Japan but if he is going back to America I hope it’s for AEW as there is more chance that he will continue with this version of Jericho and not the bland boring one he had in WWE. While they are saying Omega is staying out in  NJPW I think this is the perfect time for him to join his buddies and help take AEW to the next level but if he is sticking around then I don’t see why he needed to drop the belt here. Yes Tanahashi is the best baby face in the world but he didn’t need to win the belt if Omega is staying put they could of had him drop it to someone else like White at some point later in the year to help get White even more over so doing this definitely makes me think Omega is on the way out as long as it’s nowhere near WWE (they wouldn’t know what to do with him just like everyone who already works for them).
