There is no doubt that women’s wrestling has grown massively in popularity over the last few years and one of the many reasons is the unbelievable talent that had been developed all over the world. In the UK there are many female wrestlers making a name for themselves on a global stage and I’m sure there will be many more to follow them. One in particular that has a very promising future is Harley Faith. We were extremely lucky to get w short interview with this very talented individual who we believe will be known as one of the best this country has in the future.
UWR: What is your earliest me worry of Pro Wrestling ?
Harley: I remember first watching wrestling on the Tv with my dad when I was twelve, from that moment on I loved it.
UWR: Where did you train and who trained you to be a Pro Wrestler ?
Harley: I was trained and I am still training at Kamikaze Pro. I am trained by Marshall X.
UWR: Are your family and friends supportive of you being a Pro Wrestler ?
Harley: My family and friends support me 100% , my mum is my number one fan.
UWR: I’m sure like all Wrestlers you remember your first match. So who was it against and what do you remember about it ?
Harley: I made my debut at Kamikaze Pro Live 9 where I was overwhelmed to have the opportunity to wrestle Shanna. I knew Shanna so that helped as she has had a hand in my early training. I was very nervous but having such an amazing person who really made me feel at ease made sure it was truly memorable. It was such a rush coming out from behind the curtain and then Harley Faith took over.
UWR: What is the best match you have ever seen ?
Harley: It has to be Evolution Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair !!! Women’s wrestling has come so far, especially over the last few years , I’m very proud to be a fighting female and knocking down those barriers.
UWR: What do you think is the best match you have ever had ?
Harley: That’s a hard one, everyone I have had the pleasure to wrestle has been amazing and I’ve wrestled some of the best. But I’m gonna say my fellow Kamikaze trainee Luke Douglas in the Kamikaze Pro Live 16 championship match. It was an amazing match to end the year and being put against Luke only cemented my drive to continue and do my best. It was a fantastic match I loved every second and from the buzz of the crowd I think we both should be proud.
UWR: What is your proudest moment from your time as a Pro Wrestler so far ?
Harley: My proudest moment would have to been having the opportunity to go for a title belt it made 2018 for me and I’m hoping ill have the opportunity again in 2019.
UWR: If you could choose any wrestler in history to have a match with who would it be ?
Harley: So many to choose from but ill say Lita and Edge !! Growing up these two for me solidified my passion for wrestling.
UWR: Do you have any goals you have set for yourself that you have not yet achieved ?
Harley: I would like to be the first female Kamikaze Pro graduate to do a non DQ match, and holding a title is my next goal.
UWR: What advice would you give to someone that wants to be a Pro Wrestler ?
Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone , push yourself, stay true to who you are and what you want and don’t let anyone tell you that can’t do something because with hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
UWR: When you are not wrestling what do you enjoy doing in your spare time ?
Harley: I am currently in the end stages of achieving my Lvl 3 diploma in horse management at a Warwickshire College. And in my spare time I love riding and training my Horse. Going to wrestling shows and spending time with my family.
